They Came For!

"They came for the communists, and I did not speak up because I wasn't a communist;
They came for the socialists, and I did not speak up because I was not a socialist;
They came for the union leaders, and I did not speak up because I wasn't a union leader;
They came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak up for me."
--Martin Niemoller, 1892-1984
"On June 3, 1983, they came for Gordon Kahl because he did not want to volunteer to pay illegal taxes, and I didn't speak up because I pay my taxes";
"On August 21, 1992, when they came for Randy Weaver and shot the face off his wife (Vickie) while holding their infant, and I did not speak up because I live in the city";
"On October 15, 1992, when they came for Donald Scott, killing him in his home, because he would not sell his land to the government, I did not speak up because I would sell my land to the government";
"On April 19, 1993, they came for the Branch Davidians, burning 82 men, women and children alive, I did not speak up because I wasn't a Branch Davidian";
"On May 20, 1994, They came for Red Beckman, bulldozing his house to the ground, because he did not want to volunteer to pay illegal taxes, and I didn't speak up because I still pay my taxes";
"April 8, 1996 they came for Leonard Saye because he attended a seminar in Montana. They pushed and shoved his blind wife around, causing her to die for 6 minutes. After bringing her back to life, she laid in a coma for a month, and when she came out of it, she was a vegetable! I didn't speak up because I did not attend a seminar.
Then I heard a crashing sound at my door! Are "they" coming for "me"? I didn't do anything wrong! I pay my taxes"; I live in the city"; I don't believe in God; I don't go to seminars, I will give them what ever they want!
Where is everyone? Isn't there any one left to speak up for me?"
